The usual week
Every kitchen shows the days it cooks and the hours you can pick up. No more “are you making it this week?”
Order ahead
On days the cook has planned, your order is confirmed on the spot. Any other day it's a pre-order: the cook says yes before the deadline, or it expires and you owe nothing.
The address comes after the yes
Cooks work from home. You see the neighbourhood up front, and the exact pickup address arrives once the cook accepts your order.
Pay the person who cooked it
Cash at pickup or Interac e-Transfer, straight to the cook. Nothing is charged online, and TrulyServd never touches your money.

Why this exists
Hi. Here's the short version.
So much of what we eat every day here is mass-produced: long ingredient lists, made to last on a shelf. Simple food, cooked from scratch with things you can name, has become surprisingly hard to find.
And a lot of us miss the food we grew up with, cooked the way our families make it. Restaurants adjust recipes for everyone. Home food doesn't have to.
Here's the thing: someone near you is still cooking it that way. But you can't open a restaurant to sell twenty loaves or a weekend pot of stew. So they sell through DMs, Facebook groups, Kijiji and word of mouth, and most people never find them.

Is this a delivery app?
No. Everything is picked up — from the cook's home, market stall or pop-up. That's how a home kitchen works, and it's how the food reaches you fresh.
How do I pay?
Cash at pickup or Interac e-Transfer, whichever the cook accepts. Nothing is charged online. After the cook confirms, you'll see their payment instructions.
Who are these cooks?
Home cooks, bakers and small makers in your city. Every kitchen is reviewed by TrulyServd before it goes live, each cook's identity is checked with a government ID and a selfie, and every dish lists its allergens.
What if the cook can't make my order?
If you order for a day the cook hasn't planned, it's a pre-order. If they don't confirm before the deadline, it expires and nothing is owed.
Why can't I see the pickup address?
Most cooks work from home, so the exact address is shared only after they accept your order. You'll see the neighbourhood before you order.
I cook. Can I sell here?
